401 PM CDT FRI OCT 24 2014 HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE ACROSS THE REGION FOR THE WEEKEND WITH SOUTHERLY WIND FLOW WARMING TEMPERATURES INTO THE LOW TO MID 80S THROUGH MONDAY. PLEASANT CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH MONDAY WITH NO RAIN EXPECTED. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE 50S TO LOW 60S. AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH AND SURFACE COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE REGION ON TUESDAY...INCREASING CLOUDINESS AND THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY AS THE FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE REGION. HIGH PRESSURE WILL AGAIN BUILD BACK INTO THE AREA LATE NEXT WEEK...SIGNALING A RETURN TO PLEASANT CONDITIONS AND MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES FOR LATE OCTOBER.
